TL;DR

Interbank wanted its app to be the main channel for everyday banking, but usage data showed it wasn't users' first choice for payments. I ran an iterative mixed-methods study with another researcher to find out what people need on the Home, and the redesigned Home reached production.

TL;DR

Alcancía is a feature of the Interbank app that lets customers set money aside from their available balance. I facilitated two workshops with 12 customers: users value flexibility, but also need to organize their savings by goals and have mechanisms that help them keep the money set aside. The resulting initiatives were approved for development.
